Today I'll tell you where we are — because, yes, this is the only article on the blog where I speak directly about the shop. We have two stores in Madrid: one in the Salamanca neighbourhood and another in Paseo de la Habana / Chamartín, and both have a physical shop AND a dog grooming service.

Let's be direct: buying clothes or accessories online is convenient, but it's not the same as buying in shop. Especially with products where size matters. I'll tell you from the experience of someone who has spent years attending in Madrid:

• We try the clothes on with the dog present. If you come with your chihuahua, we put several sizes on him until we find the one that really fits. It's the quickest way to get it right.
• We see the dog and the family together. A client doesn't look for the same for a calm French bulldog as for an energetic cocker. Personal advice only works when we see the dog.
• You touch the materials. A photo won't tell you if the wool itches, if the leather is real, if the zip is robust. In the shop, yes.

Mascoboutique Núñez de Balboa — Salamanca neighbourhood

It's right in the heart of fashion Madrid, a five-minute walk from Serrano and Velázquez. It's the shop that was on Calle Castelló (until 2023, which is why many clients still call us "the shop on Castelló") and which moved to Núñez de Balboa, a couple of blocks away. It's the reference choice if you live or work in the Salamanca neighbourhood, Retiro or the centre.

Mascoboutique Paseo de la Habana — Chamartín / El Viso

Our second shop is in the Chamartín / El Viso area, right next to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. The most convenient option if you live or work in the north of Madrid: Chamartín, Tetuán, Plaza de Castilla, Hispanoamérica, Nueva España, El Viso.

Address: Calle Gutiérrez Solana, 8 — 28036 Madrid. The street comes off Paseo de la Habana, a couple of minutes' walk from the Bernabéu. If you come by car there's parking in the area; on public transport, the options are Santiago Bernabéu metro (line 10) and, on foot, also from Concha Espina (line 9). Hours: Monday to Friday with a split schedule and Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:30. Dog grooming is one of the services that most differentiates us from a generalist shop. We have it in both centres and it works by appointment. Our groomers analyse breed, morphology and coat type to do the right cut for each dog. They work especially well with small and medium breeds — yorkies, bichons, poodles, miniature schnauzers — and with low dog density at the same time. We don't put your dog through a production line: the idea is that he comes in calm and leaves relaxed.
